Transcontinental Media hires digital media vice-president

Transcontinental Media of Montreal has appointed Zouhaire Sekkat to the position of vice-president of digital media. He will develop Internet-based programs aimed at advertisers and consumers tied to the company’s consumer and print brands. Sekkat spent the past five years at Trader Classified Media as vice-president of Internet and information systems. Prior to that, he was the company’s chief information officer. He has also worked at IBM France and IBM Belgium Luxembourg.
