Ford of Canada will sponsor an event in Montreal this weekend called the Ford Racing Festival. The event, which will run from Aug. 24 to 26, will include car displays, musical performances and promotional activities such as autograph sessions with Champ Car drivers. “Ford of Canada is proud to showcase its involvement in motorsports, including our Powered By Ford sponsorship of the Champ Car World Series,” said Reg Modjeski, sponsorships manager at Ford of Canada. “We wanted to emphasize this involvement in an interactive manner, and Champ Car weekend in Montreal seemed like the ideal time for race fans of all ages to celebrate this with us on Crescent Street.” The festival is tied to the fifth annual Champ Car Grand Prix of Montreal, also taking place this weekend.
