CanWest MediaWorks promotes Bent

CanWest MediaWorks Publications has appointed Kevin Bent to the position of president and publisher of  its Pacific Newspaper Group. He will oversee the operation of daily newspapers The Vancouver Sun and The Province. Bent was most recently senior vice-president of sales and marketing at CanWest MediaWorks Publications. He has also been vice-president of sales at Southam and vice-president of advertising sales at The Ottawa Citizen, among other positions.
