Interbrand rebrands Manitoba

Interbrand of Toronto has completed a rebranding project for the Province of Manitoba. The assignment was to develop a brand that would communicate the unique qualities of the province while attracting immigrants, tourists and businesses. The work includes a new visual identity and tagline, along with specific messages for various target audiences. The process began with a Web-based survey of current perceptions about the province. The agency also established an international advisory board consisting of staff from its offices in Estonia, London, Guatemala, Chile and Johannesburg. “Interbrand was chosen because they are leaders in place branding with an amazing track record of previous success,” said Ash Modha, co-chair of the Image Task Group of the Premier's Economic Advisory Council. “Their approach is very inclusive and they balance strategy and creativity seamlessly.”
