Alberta’s Promise retains Venture Communications

Venture Communications of Calgary has been hired by Alberta’s Promise as its marketing agency. The organization was formed through a legislative act in 2003 to encourage corporations and individuals to partner with not-for-profit groups that offer services for children and youths. The agency will seek to communicate the value of these partnerships and to educate Albertans about the importance of investing in the province’s young people. The assignment will include brand development, marketing strategy, corporate identity, website construction, advertising and performance measurement. Venture won the account in a review process that involved twelve agencies in Edmonton and Calgary. ”Our selection of Venture as our marketing partner was due to the strength they have proven on both the strategic and creative front, as well as their ability to work with our many media partners,” said Tyra Henschel, executive director of Alberta’s Promise. “Venture is firmly rooted in the Alberta community and has a history of supporting children’s initiatives. They are uniquely positioned to help Alberta’s Promise.”
