Hill&Knowlton promotes Peters, Jennissen

Hill&Knowlton Strategies Canada of Toronto has promoted Joseph Peters to the position of chief strategy officer. He joined the agency three years ago when Hill&Knowlton acquired Ascentum, of which Peters was the founder. Most recently, he was a senior vice-president.

Joy Jennissen has been promoted to the position of chief client officer. She will also continue to lead operations in the agency's western region as general manager for BC and Saskatchewan. Prior to joining Hill&Knowlton in 2001, Jennissen was director of public relations for eastern Canada at Venture Communications and general manager of Roberts & Jennissen Marketing Communications.

"Strategic planning and innovation is no longer focused to just one or two times a year, it is a continuous process," said Goldy Hyder, president and CEO of the agency. "The same can be said for building strong client-centric experiences. Introducing CSO and CCO leadership positions us well to continue to deliver innovative solutions and unparalleled service to our clients."
