Hill&Knowlton appoints director of cannabis practice

Hill&Knowlton Strategies Canada of Toronto has promoted Ivan Ross Vrána to the newly-created position of national director of its cannabis practice. He joined the agency in 2015 as a senior account director in its Ottawa office. Most recently he was vice-president of public affairs in Ottawa. Vrána has also been executive director of The Canadian Expat and a principal at Aslan Ross Consulting. He was also a senior special policy advisor at Health Canada and a senior policy analyst at Finance Canada.
