KRAFT CANADA TO KEEP PRICES AND COUPONING

U.S.-based Kraft Foods is decreasing its Post cereal prices by 20%. It is also unifying its coupons for all cereals, so that coupons for Post prouducts, for example, can also be redeemed for Nabisco cereals. In Canada Kraft is keeping the prices and coupons as they are for now, external affairs manager Wendy Frattolin told Adnews recently. The price reduction is only in the U.S., she said. "At this point we have no plans in regards to the couponing process." By reducing prices and changing couponing, Kraft says it is ending inefficient promotion practices and reinvesting in the equity of its brands.
