MACLAREN CREATES INTERNATIONAL THEME

MacLaren McCann of Toronto has developed an international strategy for U.S.-based Pennzoil Products Company. A TV spot targetting young drivers, which launched in Canada this week, will begin airing internationally within the next couple of weeks. The tag line on the spot is "Pennzoil. There Are No Limits." The commercial was shot in the Australian outback over a period of three days. In Canada, radio, trade and print advertising was also launched this week. Individual countries will launch their own advertising in media other than TV, but will use the theme created by MacLaren McCann.
