COGECO RADIO-TELEVISION HAS NEW CHIEF

Michel Carter is taking over as vice-president and general manager of Cogeco Radio-Television on Nov. 2. His current job as finance vice-president of both COGECO Inc. and Cogeco Cable will be taken over by Pierre Gagné. The latter is now administration and finance vice-president of Americ Disc, a company owned by G.T.C. Transcontintental Group. COGECO has cable operations in five Canadian provinces and operates five radio stations and four TV stations in Quebec. In addition, it publishes 30 weekly newspapers in Ontario and Quebec.
