The marketing communications department at Rogers Cantel has grown with the addition of two new hires and two recent promotions. Christopher McKenzie has been appointed director, e-business marketing. McKenzie comes to Rogers Cantel from Eatons where he was director, electronic commerce and digital marketing. Also new to the department is Lee Billinkoff as manager of national advertising. Prior to joining Rogers Cantel, Billinkoff was an account executive with Leo Burnett. Rosanna Cavallaro is promoted from vice president, marketing communications to vice president, branding. In her new role, Cavallaro will be responsible for promoting Rogers Cantel's wireless brand, both internally and externally. Ania Russocki is also promoted to a new position within the marketing communications department. Previously director, national advertising, Russocki is now assistant vice president, marketing communications. In her new position, Russocki will manage Rogers Cantel's new advertising agency MacLaren McCann and its affiliates Marketel of Montreal and The Media Company. Joanne Owens joins the offices of Palmer Jarvis DDB Edmonton after being appointed account supervisor. Owens will be responsible for strategic consultation on the Henry Singer Fashion Group, Tirecraft and Western Canada Lotteries accounts, in addition to researching and developing new business opportunities for the agency. Owens joins Palmer Jarvis DDB Edmonton from Real World Communications where she was a communications consultant.
