NATIONAL BANK OF CANADA SAVING FOR A RAINY DAY

National Bank of Canada has launched a campaign to promote its savings products. Montreal-based National Bank is offering a bonus interest rate on certain term investments as well as automatically entering customers into a draw for prizes including a car, trip for two to Mexico and a home entertainment system. Customers who purchase an investment product will automatically be entered in the draw. The theme of the new fall campaign is "In with the deposit, out with the jackpot." It is being supported with print ads running in daily newspapers twice a week. In-branch promotional materials are also being used. Advertising for National Bank of Canada is handled by LG2 of Montreal. The promotion runs until the end of the year.
