TRAVEL ASSOCIATIONS MERGE

The Hotel Association of Metropolitan Toronto has joined forces with the Ontario Hotel & Motel Association. Under the deal, the HAMT will become the Toronto area representative within the provincial body. Marketing plans for the OH&MA come from Ontario travel associations. The Metropolitan Toronto Convention and Visitors Association handles marketing for HAMT. The association's ad agency is Ambrose Carr Linton Kelly of Toronto. The new structure has Rod Seiling adding the title of HAMT president to his existing title of HAMT executive director.
