PR FIRM GETS SOFTWARE BUSINESS

The Communications Group of Toronto was hired last week to handle public relations for PC DOCS CANADA. The Toronto-based company develops and distributes the document management software called DOCS Open. This is the first time PC DOCS has used an agency for PR. PC DOCS went with The Communications Group because of its experience with other high-tech companies, PC DOCS vice-president Lynn Kauffman says in a release. The agency won the business without a review after approaching the client with a proposal.
