LOOK COMMUNICATIONS LAUNCHING NEW CHANNELS

Look Communications of Milton, Ontario is expanding its broadcasting lineup with the addition of fifteen new channels and announcing a new packaging structure. Four of the new channels, Star!, Canadian Learning Television (CLT), Report on Business TV (ROBTv) and Aboriginal People's Television Network (APTN), are will added to Look's broadcasting lineup starting September 1, the initial day these channels go to air. Additional channels the digital broadcaster will be adding include: RDI, The Shopping Channel (TSC), BBC World and the Black Entertainment Network (BET). Look is also adding seven new Viewer's Choice channels to its existing lineup of eight channels bringing Look's total number of channel options to over 125. The new packaging includes Look Basic, which offers 30 local and specialty channels, 30 music channels, access to 15 pay-per-view channels and the necessary equipment. Pick 20 allows subscribers to "individually hand-pick" the channels they want by choosing an additional 10-20 channels in addition to Look Basic. To promote the new channels and packaging, Look is launching a direct mail campaign to its subscribers and supporting the campaign with in-store signage at retail partner Future Shop locations in Ontario and Quebec. Look currently provides digital broadcasting only in Quebec and Ontario. The direct mail campaign and in-store signage was created by Rapp Collins Comunicaide and APEX, both of Toronto.
