SPECTRUM UNITED TESTING YOUR THINKING

Spectrum United Mutual Funds Inc. has launched a new advertising campaign for the fall designed to build on its "360 Degree Thinking" positioning launched last year. The new campaign was created to show viewers the benefits of 360 degree thinking by inviting them to solve a number of puzzles and brainteasers. The campaign broke with a teaser superboard and other outdoor billboards in the Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal markets. Following that it will move into print and radio, leading to a direct mail campaign in the upcoming months. The campaign is designed to both increase the profile of Spectrum as well as link the concept of 360 degree thinking with Spectrum United, according to Christine Lasky, vice-president of marketing at the firm. Spectum United offers a range of mutual funds. The firm is wholly-owned by Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada. Advertising for Spectrum United Mutual Funds is done by Toronto-based Bates Canada.
