A few promotions at Vickers & Benson has things changing around a bit. Anik Karimjee is promoted from director, strategic analysis unit, to vice president, director, strategic analysis unit whereas Trish Sullivan moves from creative planner to vice president, creative planner. Thomas Haig has been promoted from executive vice president to president and chief operating officer of Zellers effective immediately. He replaces George Heller, who was named president and chief executive officer of the Hudson's Bay Company last week. Lyse Bergevin has been appointed sales representative for the magazine Affaires Plus. She will be responsible for advertising sales to clients and agencies in Quebec and part of the U.S. She will also be in charge of business development. Most recently Bergevin was sales representative for the newspaper Les Affaires.
An appointment and a promotion finds Suzanne Lapalme being appointed general manager, Canvideo Television Sales and Patrick O'Hara promoted to general manager of Global Television Quebec. Most recently Lapalme was general manager of Global Television Quebec and O'Hara was operations manager of Global Quebec. Canvideo Television Sales is a subsidiary of Global Television Network.
