RANSCOMBE XPLODES OVER NEW STEREOS

Sony MobileComm America of Park Ridge, NJ is disturbing the peace with the American launch of its new line of car amplifiers and speakers. To promote the new line, Sony has enlisted Ranscombe & Co. of Toronto and gonzo artist Ralph Steadman of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas in creating a series of magazine ads for the new line. Sony is targeting single males, ages 16 to 35 with a series of ads in Bikini, Details, Spin, Car Audio & Electronics, Car Stereo Review, Car Sound and Vibe debuting in the April issues. The ads will be adapted for the Canadian market and the new line is expected to be available in Canada by Spring.
