GLOBE & MAIL SPONSORS TOP 40 UNDER 40
By Adnews Staff
The Globe & Mail daily newspaper has reached an agreement with the Caldwell Partners of Toronto, to become the print media sponsor of "Canada's Top 40 Under 40" program. The program was founded and is managed by The Caldwell Partners. It is a national program in its fourth year, celebrating Canadian business leaders and honoring Canadians those who have reached a significant level of success but have not reached the age of 40. The Globe & Mail takes over as print media sponsor from the Financial Post who had sponsored the program for the last three years. The Globe will write about the entire nomination process, all announcements, publicizing the board who chooses the top 40 winners and writing about the list of winners. Television commercials for the program have also been created by the Canadian Broadcasting Corp., another sponsor of the program. Canada's Top 40 Under 40 is designed to promote mentorship and professional development by introducing these leaders to the established business community and by promoting them as role models for young Canadians. PetroCanada, the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Canadian Airlines, The Royal York hotel and Birks are also sponsoring the program.
