Money losing T. Eaton Company of Toronto is reorganizing its operations in hopes of making the national retailer profitable again. The company has reduced its administrative and corporate staff by about 200 employees and organized its operations into five geographic business units, each headed by a divisional president. The five divisional presidents will be Dean Urquhart, who will head up Alberta and B.C. operations, Edie Collins, who will be responsible for Ontario Southwest, Manitoba and Saskatchewan and David Woolley, who will be president for Toronto suburban stores, as well as stores in Barrie and Sudbury, both in Ontario. Tom Crook will take on the president's title for the Toronto flagship stores and Serge Tremblay will be divisional president for Eastern Canada. Eaton's operates 64 department stores across Canada.
