The Discovery Channel has teamed up with Toronto-based CineNova Productions Inc. to produce a show focusing on Cleopatra. Called Cleopatra's Palace: In Search of a Legend, the show will air in March and will be a one-hour documentary for broadcast to 142 countries in 23 languages across Discovery Channel networks. The documentary will launch Discovery Canada's Egypt Week and recount underwater explorer Frank Goddio's recent discovery of Cleopatra's Royal Quarters. Discovery Channel networks around the world will utilize common marketing strategies to promote the broadcast event globally. A tagline of "One Day. One Network. 142 Countries. Watch With The World." is being used to promote the broadcast. In Canada, the Discovery Channel will use radio and magazine ads in publications such as TV Guide and StarWeek. Promotion is also being done on Discovery's Web Site. Enterprise Creative Selling of Toronto handles Canadian advertising for the Discovery Channel.
