DEADLINE APPROACHING FOR HEART AWARD

The deadline for nominations for the Paul Mulvihill Charitable Foundation's Heart Award is Oct. 1. The award recognizes those from the media community, broadcasters, advertisers and ad agency practitioners that give selflessley to any national or local charity or community service. The Heard Award was established in 1987 in memory of Paul Mulvihill, a broadcaster and 41-year veteran in the broadcast representation business. The award will be presented at the Broadcast Executives Society's monthly meeting in Toronto on Oct. 8.
