FUJI OFFERS FILM FOR AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHERS

Japan-based Fuji Photo Film Co. will bring its new line of color film to the Canadian market at the end of February. The new line features five different films geared to the consumer market. The new film is called the Fujicolour Superia 100, 200, 400 800 and the Fujicolour Superia Reala. The Superia 100 is a general purpose film aimed mainly at outdoor use and features a newly developed emulsion that Fuji says enhances picture sharpness and reproduces skin tones and textures smoothly and naturally. The Superia 200 is a multi-purpose film that can be used outdoors in daylight or indoors with a flash. The 400 film can be used indoors and outdoors for snapshots and sports actions either in low light or with a flash. The Superia 800 film is a high-speed film for fast action sports or non-flash photography for parties or stage sets. The Superia Reala is a premium ISO 100 film for taking pictures of special events or for images intended for large print sizes. Advertising plans for the new line are currently being worked out. The campaign will be created by Doner Canada of Toronto. Fuji introduced the Superia line in Europe last fall, and in the U.S. this month.
