GBV LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN SOUTH OF THE BORDER

Griffin Bacal Volny of Toronto will launch a U.S. print campaign next month for North American Television, which is a joint venture of the Canadian Broadcasting Corp. and Power Broadcasting in the U.S. The print campaign will be supported by trade and consumer public relations. The ads and the PR will focus on the two U.S. cable networks that NATV operates: Trio, which airs dramas, documentaries and films from Canada and around the world and Newsworld International, a 24-hour international news network. The upcoming campaign will be GBV's second piece of work for NATV. The first assignment included setting up a booth for NATV at the recent Western Show in Los Angeles, a trade show for the U.S. cable TV industry. Image ads for two trade publications were also developed.
