Susan Gianinno has joined D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles of New York as global marketing director, vice-president and chief branding officer responsible for global business development. DMB&B vice-chairman, strategic business development and planning director Sam Hill will be appointed chief strategic officer and co-head of the global strategic group. Daniel Dahan has been named executive vice-president and leadership strategy director of the global group. Previously he was CEO of DMB&B Paris office. North American business development director Tim Arnold will be given the additional role of worldwide business development coordinator. Kathy Gardner has been promoted from vice-president and associate media director at Toronto-based Bates Canada to the position of media director. Ruth Klostermann has moved up at the agency from vice-president and associate media director to planning and research director. Anne Denomme has been named broadcast buying director. Most recently she was an associate media director. Blair Setford is now at Retrocom Growth Fund as communications manager, responsible for corporate communications including media relations, marketing material, advertising and promotional copy and Internet material. Most recently he was a reporter for the Daily Commercial News. David Day has joined The Gingko Group as account director for The Gingko Group of Toronto, working with the heathcare clients. Formerly he was product manager at Zeneca Pharma Inc. Moriah Okalow is now at the agency as account coordinator working with Gingko's healthcare clients. Previously she was marketing assistant at Nesbitt Burns of Toronto.
