Compaq Computer Corp. of Houston added a new computer to its Armada line of notebook machines that is 1.5-inches thick. Called the Armada 4160T-Slimline, the machine weighs five pounds and is geared to the mobile user who does not require a CD-ROM and floppy disk drive at all times. The Slimline also has a 166 Mhz Pentium process with MMX technology and a 12.1 inch screen with 800 X 600 pixel resolution. In Canada, the computer is supported with national TV, magazine and newspaper ads created by Ammirati & Puris/Lintas of New York.
