TRAVEL FIRM CLAIMS NEW MARKETING STANDARDS

On Monday International Travel Holdings will unveil what it says is "a far-reaching marketing strategy that will set new standards in the leisure travel industry." A release from International Travel continues, "The company is changing the way it does business to exceed the expectations of consumers and the retail travel trade." The new marketing package includes advertising from Leo Burnett Co. in Toronto which was hired late last year by the tour operator. The Toronto office of Edelman Public Relations is handling PR. International Travel's operating companies are Akard Group, Adventure Tours, Encore Cruises, Fiesta Holidays, Sol Vac Tours, Fiesta West and P.S. Holidays.
