Edelman adds staff in Montreal

Edelman Public Relations has appointed Sylvain Perron to the position of general manager of its Montreal office. Perron joined Edelman in 2007 as general manager of Edelman Digital Canada, a position he will continue to hold. Anik Trudel, previously the agency's vice-president of corporate communications and employee engagement, has been appointed deputy general manager. Trudel joined the agency a year ago. Edelman Montreal has hired Frédéric Tremblay as vice-president of corporate communications. He was previously vice-president of corporate and financial affairs at Hill & Knowlton. Isabelle Troitzky has joined the agency as senior director of the consumer goods and health practices. She previously operated her own firm called Isabelle Troïtzky Communications. She has also worked at Fleishman-Hillard and Optimum. Marie Dimitri has been hired as director of health for Edelman Digital.
