Save Your Skin Foundation begins campaign

The Save Your Skin Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that works to raise awareness of skin cancers, has begun a campaign to coincide with its 20th anniversary. The effort consists of a digital collection of written profiles and videos highlighting 20 people who have been involved with the foundation. This execution, called “20 Voices for 20 Years of Impact,” will run through the year at <http://www.saveyourskin.ca/20-years>. The campaign will also include a series of community events, fundraising initiatives and educational activities.

“Our story has always been about people,” said Kathy Barnard, president of the foundation. “Patients, caregivers, families, clinicians, volunteers and partners came together when there was no roadmap. We built one together, and that spirit of community still guides everything we do. Our anniversary honours the people who built this movement. But it’s also about looking forward, strengthening early detection, improving treatment access and ensuring no one faces cancer alone.”
