Indigenous Tourism Ontario releases meal kit

Indigenous Tourism Ontario and Destination Ontario have begun a food-themed promotion. Developed by Initiative, the promotion is being conducted in association with food delivery service Goodfood. It features a limited edition meal kit that allows consumers to prepare a recipe called Ontario Indigenous-Style Bison Meatballs with Blueberry BBQ Sauce and Red Rice Pilaf. The kit includes special packaging including original art, co-branded boxes and stickers. The kit is being promoted through Goodfood flyers, newsletters, digital properties and social media. The effort also include influencer activities.

“Indigenous Tourism Ontario is extremely pleased to partner with true allies to grow and showcase the Indigenous food tourism sector,” said Kevin Eshkawkogan, president and CEO of Indigenous Tourism Ontario. “Through this amazing and innovative partnership with Destination Ontario, we are setting a new standard on how to collaborate in a mutually beneficial manner.”
