Subway begins Great Canadian Challenge

Sandwich chain Subway Canada has begun a national promotion called “The Great Canadian Challenge” in support of its MVP Rewards loyalty program. For one week, consumers will be invited to search for and scan 10 QR codes hidden around the country. Codes will be hidden in Vancouver, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Toronto, Quebec City, St. John’s, Charlottetown, Halifax and Fredericton. Clues to the locations will be posted to the chain’s Instagram page. Consumers who scan the codes will be entered into a draw for one of ten grand prizes of one million loyalty points.

“On the heels of the launch of Subway MVP Rewards, we’re excited to give Subway fans even more perks in pursuit of their favourite subs,” said Lisa Mazurkewich, head of marketing at Subway Canada. “We’ve seen consumers go to great lengths for Subway sandwiches, and we’re delighted to have the opportunity to reward them for doing so with ‘The Great Canadian Challenge.’”
