Canadian Tire sponsors PWHL

Canadian Tire has signed-on as a sponsor of the Professional Women’s Hockey League. During the multi-year agreement, Canadian Tire will be the league’s first founding partner. The sponsorship includes the league’s Inaugural Draft. The first seaon of the PWHL will begin in January 2024, with teams in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Boston, Minneapolis-St. Paul, and New York.
“This furthers our longstanding commitment to advancing gender equity and inclusion in sport from grassroots to professional arenas,” said Greg Hicks, president and CEO of Canadian Tire. “This endeavour reflects CTC's dedication to enhancing communities and fulfilling our brand purpose of making life in Canada better.”
