Dollarama joins Air Miles

Loyalty program Air Miles, now owned by BMO, has formed an agreement with retail chain Dollarama. Consumers participating in the program will be able to receive and redeem loyalty points at the 1,500 Dollarama stores in Canada beginning Aug. 7. Consumers with a linked Canadian-issued Mastercard will receive 10 points when they spend $30 or more in a single transaction.

“Our promise to Canadians, especially in this tough economy, is to provide the most flexible and expansive ways to earn on everyday purchases,” said Shawn Stewart, president of Air Miles. “These announcements are the first of many in the coming months that are expected to refresh the Air Miles Reward Program and empower Canadians to get the most out of every dollar spent.”
