Air Miles Receipts service debuts

Loyalty program Air Miles has nationally debuted a service called Air Miles Receipts. Users of the service can scan a photograph of a grocery receipt with a mobile application to receive loyalty points for eligible purchases. Consumers can also check available offers and shop for participating products. Air Miles describes the service as the first of its kind among loyalty programs. The service launched in Atlantic Canada in June.

“After the positive outcomes from our Atlantic launch earlier this year, we knew it was imperative to extend our Receipts program to collectors and partners nationwide,” said Shawn Stewart, president of Air Miles. “In line with Air Miles’ ongoing commitment to continuously invest in new ways for our collectors to earn and redeem, we take immense pride in how Air Miles Receipts makes it easy and convenient to earn Bonus Miles from grocery purchase receipts, and eagerly anticipate its sustained growth in times ahead.”
