407 ETR begins paperless billing campaign

The 407 ETR Concession Company, operator of Highway 407 in Ontario, has begun a new campaign to promote its paperless billing service. According to the company, the intent of the campaign is to highlight how the service enhances biodiversity in the Greater Toronto Area. From July 4 to Sept. 2, the company will donate two dollars to the Nature Conservancy of Canada for each customer who converts to paperless billing. Consumers with a 407 ETR web account who switch to paperless billing or who create an account during the promotion will also be entered into a draw for a year of free travel on Highway 407.

“This important partnership with the Nature Conservancy of Canada is assisting with critical conservation needs right in our backyard,” said Javier Tamargo, president and CEO of 407 ETR. “We're working to reduce our carbon footprint and cutting back on paper consumption is one way we're making a difference. When customers take the action to go paperless, we'll pay it forward with a donation to help protect biodiversity.”
