Espace pour la Vie readies garden promotion

Montreal-based Espace pour la Vie is preparing a promotion called “Taste Your Garden.” From Aug. 1 to 27, visitors to the venue’s Jardin botanique will be able to sample unusual edible plants. According to the organization, the intent is to raise awareness of the importance of biodiversity. Plants from China, Japan and the First Nations of Quebec will be presented at three gardens, while the Frédéric Back Tree Pavilion will offer products from Quebec trees and shrubs. Each day of the promotion, a special guest will present a food item, followed by a tasting session.
