H&R Block conducts Minecraft promotion

Tax return preparation chain H&R Block conducted an online promotion called “Tax Craft” today during which the company operated an “office” within the video game Minecraft. Developed by Sid Lee of Toronto, the one-day promotion involved tax experts from the company giving advise to consumers on a private Minecraft server. The event was also streamed live on Twitch. According to the agency, the promotion is intended to highlight the simplicity of using H&R Block for tax preparation.
