Kraft Heinz begins Game Day Dogs promotion

Kraft Heinz Canada has begun a summer promotion the Greater Toronto Area in collaboration with food delivery service DoorDash. The campaign, timed to coincide with the professional baseball season, features a product called Heinz Game Day Dogs. These are hotdogs intended to replicate the style of hotdogs sold at baseball games. During the promotion, they will be delivered to consumers who are remaining home due to COVID-19. All proceeds will be donated to the Jays Care Foundation, which works to provide meals for families living in Toronto community housing. The offer is being promoted with social media content and public relations, as well as a Spotify playlist called “Heinz Sounds of Baseball.”

“Baseball just isn’t complete without that iconic game day hotdog,” said Brian Neumann, senior brand manager at Kraft Heinz Canada. “While this season will look different for fans, we want to make sure it tastes the same, which is why Heinz has decided to bring the game day experience home with Heinz Game Day Dogs. As the official ketchup of the Toronto Blue Jays, we want to do our part to support those in need in the Blue Jays community, which is why we are donating all proceeds from Game Day Dogs to Jays Care Foundation to help provide meals to local families.”
