CBC adds additional children's programming

CBC has added additional programming for children and tweens to its CBC Gem streaming service. The 300 hours of content are advertising-free and intended aimed primarily at children whose schools and day care centres are currently closed. In addition, the broadcaster as made access to its educational service Curio.ca free nationally. The ad-free service is available in English and French and provides content aimed at students from the primary to post-secondary levels. This includes television and radio programs, documentaries, news reports, archival material and other resources.
