Harvey's, Swiss Chalet offer discount to first responders

Restaurant chains Harvey's and Swiss Chalet will conduct a retail promotion from March 20 to 27 during which Canadian government healthcare workers, as well as first responders such as police, firefighters and paramedics, will receive a 50% discount on take-out or drive-through orders. According to the chains, the promotion is intended to provide support to those combating the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
“First responders are working countless hours to help keep Canadians safe and healthy, and we wanted to support them and their families,” said David Colebrook, chief operating officer at Harvey's Canada. “Our dining room seating is currently closed, but our drive-throughs and takeout are still open, so you can maintain social distance and pick up a bite to eat for yourself and your family after a long day.”
