Taco Bell begins Layers for Layers promotion

Taco Bell Canada has begun a national charitable initiative called “Layers for Layers.” From Feb. 6 to 8, the fast food chain will offer free Double Layer Tacos in exchange for clothing donations at participating locations. The clothing will be distributed to local charitable organizations. Taco Bell Canada will also donate the value of each Double Layer Taco given away during the campaign to Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada. Taco Bell is a subsidiary of Yum Brands.

“Taco Bell Canada is known for doing unexpected things when launching a limited-time menu item, and ‘Layers for Layers’ is exactly that, but with an added layer,” said Veronica Castillo, head of marketing at Taco Bell Canada. “We’re sharing our love of tacos and love for our local customers by extending the giving season and giving back to local communities and those in need with the help of our customers.”
