Unifor breaks awareness campaign
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based labour union Unifor has begun a new advertising campaign called "Save Oshawa GM." The initiative is intended to raise awareness of the union's efforts to support the General Motors factory in Oshawa, ON. It consists of television, radio, print, digital and out-of-home advertising in Canada and the US. Full-page newspaper ads will run in the Detroit Free Press through the holiday season, accompanied by digital billboards in the Greater Toronto Area and radio commercials through southern Ontario. Television advertising will run during NHL and NBA games, as well as during news and business programming.
