Tim Hortons sponsors Hockey Canada

Tim Hortons has signed a four-year sponsorship agreement with Hockey Canada. The deal includes support for Canadian national teams competing in the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship and the IIHF Women's World Championship, as well as promotional activities attached to those events. Tim Hortons will also become the title sponsor of the organization's Initiation Program for young hockey players. The Timbits Initiation Program is a learn-to-play program designed to introduce the basic skills of the game to children ages five and six.

"This partnership speaks to our intrinsic connection with Canada's game and the foundation of Tim Hortons, beginning with our founder who was an amazing talent in the restaurant and on the ice," said Jorge Zaidan, head of marketing at Tim Hortons Canada. "The relationship with Hockey Canada demonstrates our continued love, passion and commitment to supporting hockey development for the youth at every level, in communities across Canada."
