CTV introduces streaming sports services

CTV of Toronto has debuted two new digital subscription services called TSN Direct and RDS Direct. The services will provide digital access to five feeds of on-demand and streaming sports video content. They will launch with coverage of the 2018 FIFA World Cup soccer tournament. Subscribers can access the services via <http://www.tsn.ca/live>, <http://www.rds.ca> or through mobile applications and connected television sets. CTV is a division of Bell Media.

"Providing choice and variety has been a driving force behind our programming strategy, and we know Canadian sports fans want options in terms of how they watch and consume our content," said Stewart Johnston, president of media sales, marketing and TSN at Bell Media. "We're excited to introduce TSN Direct to sports fans nationwide, allowing them access to their favourite sports and our extensive championship events through a monthly digital subscription."
