Boston Pizza readies Slice is Right contest

Mississauga-based restaurant chain Boston Pizza will conduct a contest promotion on Feb. 9 called "The Slice is Right" The promotion, timed to coincide with National Pizza Day, will take the form of an online pizza-themed trivia competition. Consumers can enter at <http://www.bostonpizza.com/thesliceisright>. The winner, who will be announced via the company's social media pages on Feb. 12, will receive free pizza for a year. The contest is being promoted with a series of online videos featuring pizza trivia.
"While every day is pizza day at Boston Pizza, National Pizza Day is a time for everyone to celebrate this round, saucy, cheesy food that brings people together," said Donna Finelli, senior vice-president of marketing at Boston Pizza International. "'The Slice is Right' is our way to share our passion for pizza with fellow fans, while giving them the chance to win the ultimate prize: free pizza."
