RBC Insurance releases travel application

RBC Insurance has released a new mobile application called Path aimed at Canadian travelers. The application provides information about nearby hospitals and clinics based on the user's current location. Users can also search for such facilities in other locations or call for emergency medical assistance. The application also offers travel information, advisories and advice. It is available for free for Android and Apple devices.
"Our idea was to help our clients access emergency medical assistance anywhere in the world and receive up-to-date travel information and advice on the go," said Stacey Hughes-Brooks, head of travel at RBC Insurance. "With the Path app, RBC Insurance clients are only one click away from finding the help they need while traveling. Path exemplifies our commitment to providing best-in-class mobile solutions to our clients and becoming a digitally enabled insurer."
