Rogers Media readies CityNews expansion

Rogers Media of Toronto plans to expand its CityNews news program nationally. Previously broadcast only in Toronto, the daily one-hour program will be expanded to include Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg and Montreal. Each edition will be produced locally. The show will debut in Edmonton and Winnipeg on Sept. 4, launching in the additional markets in the winter of 2018.
