Blackjet gains three accounts

Toronto-based digital agency Blackjet has recent gained three new clients. The Canadian Association of Orthodontists has retained the firm as its agency of record. Blackjet will launch a national public awareness campaign for the association in mid-2017. The intent is to raise consumer awareness of orthodontists and foster a more direct relationship between the profession and consumers.

Husky Injection Molding Systems has hired the Blackjet as agency of record for brand communications. The agency will provide strategic, design and creative work for the company, which specializes in injection molding equipment and services to the plastics industry. The assignment will focus on providing support to Husky's marketing and communications department.

Blackjet has also been appointed agency of record for the Bloor-Dufferin Place Branding and Real Estate Marketing Assignment. The 7.3-acre mixed-use residential development is owned by Capital Developments, Timbercreek Asset Management and Metropia. The completed area will include residential, community services and public spaces.

"These new business wins usher in an exciting period of growth at Blackjet," said Rob Galletta, managing partner at Blackjet. "Not only do these wins represent our areas of expertise, place branding and real estate, but they also offer us areas of expansion with our first international client, B2B and first national association win."
