Media Profile promotes seven, adds two

Toronto-based public relations agency Media Profile has recently promoted seven staff members and hired two more. John Thibodeau has been promoted from vice-president to senior vice-president. Prior to joining the agency in 1998, he was director of research at Probe International. Chris Wood has been promoted to vice-president. Ashleigh Cartier has been promoted to the newly-created position of senior director of digital strategy. Prior to joining the firm in 2011, she was a senior account executive at Weber Shandwick. Carla Maggiotto and Ginger Shewell have been promoted to account director. Both were previously senior consultants. Jenna Bruno and Jill Lindsay have been promoted to consultant. Bruno joined the agency in 2015, while Lindsay was previously an account coordinator. Ranziba Nehrin and Melissa Schaefer have joined the agency as account coordinators. Nehrin was previously a corporate communications assistant at Sun Life Financial.
