Subaru renews Canadian Rally Championship sponsorship

Mississauga-based automaker Subaru Canada has renewed its sponsorship agreement with the Canadian Rally Championship racing series for 2017. Subaru will be the presenting sponsor of the season. It will also compete with its own racing team, featuring driver Antoine L'Estage and co-driver Alan Ockwell. The seven-event season will begin on Feb. 3 at the Rallye Perce Neige in Maniwaki, QC.
"I am so excited for the new season," said L'Estage. "We are very happy to be driving the Subaru WRX STI and are confident that we will get excellent results, including the chance for a 13th title for Subaru."
